I’m Chris, a mathematics graduate who really likes watching numbers go up – especially if it’s my bank account and I’m doing very little to achieve that! That’s probably why I like so-called ‘idle’ games like Cookie Clicker.
That got me thinking; what if I could live life as an idle game?
Passive income; or in this case ‘idle income’ for the sake of branding, is a way to do just that. Think about the Cookie Clicker analogy. You click the cookie until you’ve baked enough cookies to buy something to do it for you. Then you buy another, and another.
The most obvious parallel is real estate. But that feels almost… end game. Through this site, I aim to explore ways to make money online in order to get there, and beyond. Now, since none of the tools I use here are ‘get rich quick’ schemes, it will be a slow grind at first (after all – the cookie won’t click itself!), but hopefully it’ll pay off eventually.
