I covered a market research program recently called Smart Panel. Well, here are 2 similar mobile apps that offer rewards for (basically) nothing.
SlideJoy
This is an app that pays you to have adverts on your lock screen.
Points are redeemable at a rate of 1000 = 1 USD, and can be exchanged for PayPal cash; or gift cards including Amazon, Starbucks and Facebook.
If you want to actively increase your earnings, you can also complete offers from the usual places (TrialPay, PeanutLabs, etc.) on their offer wall.
You can expect to earn an extra £1 or £2 every month, for nothing.
Again, a slow earner. You get points to share location data (anonymously, of course) from your phone. It happens passively, so you don’t even need to open the app.
You can gain a few extra points by completing surveys, or referring friends. Points are redeemable at a rate of 2460 = £1, or can be exchanged for sweepstakes entries. Normally I’d suggest getting the guaranteed cash, but since it’s so much cheaper for the sweepstakes entries (200 points for one entry to the monthly £100 sweepstakes) you’re probably better off doing that.
Depending on what you’re spending your points on, and how lucky you are with the sweepstakes, you could earn big with this app.
