Prolific is a fantastic site that pays you to complete academic studies, or surveys.
Surveys pay a minimum rate of $6.50/hr, making Prolific one of the highest paying survey sites on the internet.
If you’re a student, or have ever been a student, you’re probably familiar with the kinds of surveys you’ll be asked to do. They’re the ones that get emailed around campuses offering money for completion.
You’ll never get kicked out of a Prolific survey.
Once you start, you’ll have to fill out extensive profile questionnaires. This process guarantees you’ll only receive invites to surveys you qualify for.
There’s nothing worse than getting kicked out in the middle of a survey. These profile questions make sure Prolific will never do that!
You’ll receive an email whenever a new study is available for you, but I recommend you keep a Prolific tab open to make sure you don’t miss an opportunity.
Prolific studies appear much less often than typical paid survey sites. You won’t be slogging through 10-20 surveys, of which you’ll probably only actually complete 4-5.
Instead, you can expect to receive 1 or 2 surveys every day.
When a study is available for you to join, it’ll appear in the STUDIES tab. There, you can see how long the survey will take, how much it’ll pay, and its equivalent hourly rate.

As I mentioned above, Prolific recommends a minimum $6.50/hr (£5/hr) to its researchers, meaning a 15-minute survey will typically pay around $1.60, or £1.22.
This easily makes Prolific one of the highest paying survey sites out there.
Once you reach the threshold of $10, you can withdraw your earnings directly to PayPal.

Since I started using Prolific at the beginning of December, I’ve attempted a total of 8 surveys. One didn’t load properly, so I’ve really only completed 7, with 6 having been confirmed so far.

From that, I’ve earned a total of £13.03. That’s not bad at all!
I highly recommend Prolific to anyone who is looking to make money online from survey sites.
