LifePoints is a market research panel that pays you for answering surveys.
As with most survey sites, you answer surveys and receive points, then redeem those points for cash or gift cards. There are also polls and product testing opportunities to earn more points.
With LifePoints, you can cash out 575 points to £5 PayPal.
They typically pay between 40-75 LifePoints (LP) per survey, which works out at around £0.35-£0.65. It’s pretty much the average for this kind of site.
As is the norm for these sites, complete your profile as thoroughly as possible to maximize your chances of receiving surveys, and make it less likely you’ll be kicked out of a survey early. LifePoints will send you an email when a new survey is available so you won’t miss out.
The reason I’m giving LifePoints its own post, however, is that on occasion they’ll promote a BIG survey. These high-paying surveys will be placed at the top of the survey lists, so there’s no need to worry about missing them when they’re available!
In fact, I’ve only completed 3 surveys since starting LifePoints, and have cashed out a total of £20, with a further £20 expected in the next 6 weeks as a kind of add-on to one of them.
The first big one was a diary survey that required me to keep track of my daily hygiene routine over the course of 7 days. That was supposed to pay 580 LP, but actually paid 750 LP.
The second was the National Buyers Survey, which was a 90 minute slog that resulted in a reward of 1500 LP.
Furthermore, at the end of the survey I received an invitation to download a data collection extension called mC+, which will pay an extra 2000 LP if I keep it active for 6 weeks.
And so, having cashed out £20 from a little over 2 weeks of actual use, I had to write about LifePoints.
Even if you’re not using it as your primary source of survey income, it’s absolutely worth it to check by from time to time to see what surveys are available.
